2009 RWC Calendar Contest Winners

We received 870 contest entries.

In chosing the winners, we used the following criteria: 1) Voting results, 2) Is the original photo high enough quality for printing in the calendar? 3) Only one winning photo per photographer, 4) Region and scene diversity, and 5) Uniquness of the scene. This was by far the strongest set of photos we have ever had for the calendar; virtually any of the top 50 photos would have been usable in the calendar.

We offer our sincere thanks to everyone who submitted a photo; even though, you give us a very hard job! We did give the names of the photographers during the voting process, but here are the names of the poeple who took these great shots: Garner Dewey, Andy Kunkle, Park Terrell, Shelton Wilder, Sander Gibson, Jim Webb, Joe Hunter, Jr., Katy Montgomery, Jeff Miller, David Abrams, Stan Messick, Bob Johnson, Eric Thurman, Heather Turner, Peter Larkins, Emil Skiba, Elizabeth Champion, Gary Sortor, Bob Peterson, Lauren Trogdon , Howard M.
